A Chinese woman has been taken into custody from Kollupitiya with 258 bundles of illegal cigarettes in her possession. Police Media Unit stated that the suspect was arrested from a house in Dharmaraja Mawatha, Kollupitiya in the early hours of today following a tip-off.
The suspect is a 38-year-old Chinese national. She is due to be produced before the Fort Magistrate's Court today. Kollupitiya Police are investigating.
