A suspect has been arrested for being in possession of narcotics valued at Rs 70 million today (Feb 22).
The suspect was arrested by CID officials attached to the Meegamuwa Branch along with two narcotics identified as 'Ash' and heroin.
CID officials also seized nearly nine kilograms of beedi that was in the suspect's possession.
Investigations are currently being carried out into the arrest, police sources said.
