The vehicle which was used in transporting the bodies of two businessmen who were believed to have been killed in Rathgama, was recovered earlier today (Feb 26).
Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officials had recovered the van which they believed was used to transport the bodies of the businessmen to a forest reserve in Walasmulla.
Meanwhile, the sub-inspector attached to the Southern Special Investigations Unit who was arrested in connection with the abduction and the alleged murder was remanded until tomorrow.
The remand order was issued when the suspect was produced before the Galle Magistrates Court today.
