The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has informed court that the vehicle used by the suicide bomber at St. Anthony's church in Kotahena, belonged to the suicide bomber of the Kingsbury Hotel.
Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne heard yesterday (May 09) that the vehicle bearing explosives was parked 75 metres away from the Church before it was disposed by means of a controlled explosion a few days later.
Further, CID told court that the manner in which the bomber had parked the vehicle and then entered the church had been captured on CCTV cameras in the area.
