Colder nights and mornings over next few days

Dry weather with colder nights and mornings can be expected over most parts of the island over the next several days, the Department of Meteorology stated. Ground frost can be expected at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district in the early hours of the morning, it added. 

Mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places of the island during the morning particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces.
