The Colombo-Katunayake Expressway, which had been closed for vehicular traffic owing to smoke from a fire that had erupted nearby, has now been completely reopened for traffic.
The fire had erupted at a site used to discard garbage near one section of the expressway, resulting in the expressway having to be temporarily closed this afternoon due to smoke coming from the fire.
