Complaints against Kurunegala Hospital doctor rises to 300
A total of 300 complaints have been filed against Kurunegala Teaching Hospital doctor Mohamed Shafi who was arrested recently.
These complaints had been received by the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, and the Dambulla, Sigiriya, and Galewela police stations.
Meanwhile, former Central Provincial Council member Thushara Swarnathilaka filed complaints against two doctors attached to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital.
Thcomplaints had been filed since several mothers had complained regarding certain alleged irregularities in their medical procedures, the former Councillor said.
