The 2018 report of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) will be submitted to Parliament during the next sittings, the Parliament’s Department of Communication said.
The report outlining the financial performance of 855 government institutions was approved on November 26.
COPA Chairman Lasantha Alagiyawanna was quoted as saying that 26 more reports would be submitted to Parliament based on the Auditor General (AG)'s reports.
In addition to reviewing the AG's reports, COPA has also been evaluating data pertaining to these state institutions since 2015, through a web-based computer programme.
