Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga issuing a statement said she is watching with concern, the current political unrest in the country and regretted the efforts by some SLFPers to betray the peoples’ demands for a better Sri Lanka which gained victory on January 8, 2015.
The former President said the scenes being played out in Parliament and outside are destroying the peoples' confidence in democratic institutions.
