The Balangoda Magistrate's Court today (Jun 17) imposed fines on 53 suspects who were arrested during a Facebook party in Ratnapura yesterday.
Four suspects who were caught with heroin and another individual who was nabbed with a narcotic named 'ice' were fined Rs 10,000 each.
The remaining 48 suspects who were nabbed with kerala cannabis received fines of Rs 2500 and Rs 3000.
Special Task Force (STF) officers had arrested the suspects while the party was underway at a hotel in Belihuloya, Ratnapura.
