A detention order has been issued on M N Mohamed Faizer who was handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) yesterday (Apr 09).
Mr. Faizer who was deported from Dubai this week was handed over to the CCD following questioning carried out by the Criminal Investigations Department.
A 24-hour detention order was issued on the suspect after he was produced before the Hultsdorf Chief Magistrates Court this afternoon, police said.
