Court of Appeal grants bail to IP Neomal Rangajeewa
The Court of Appeal today granted bail to Inspector of Police Neomal Rangajeewa for the alleged involvement in the 2012 Welikada Prison riots.
IP Rangajeewa was further remanded along with Prisons Commissioner Emil Ranjan Lamahewa until October 02 when the case was taken up for hearing before the Colombo Magistrates Court on September 18.
