The Colombo High Court has permitted the examination of a computer system from which telephone records had been obtained and submitted as evidence in a threatening case over the Bond scam.
Shanil Neththikumara, has been accused of threatening the sibling of a witness who had given evidence against the bond scam case at the presidential commission which had been appointed to probe the matter.
During a hearing yesterday (Sept 5), lawyer's representing the accused had requested court to permit the examination of the computer system. The prosecution too had expressed agreement in that regard.
Further hearing of the case has been fixed for September 9.
