The bail application filed by Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Lieutenant Yoshitha Rajapaksa has been fixed on February 29 after the courts decided to consider the objections against the bail. The Colombo High Court today issued the order when the bail application was taken up today.
Along with Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Nishantha Ranathunga, Rohan Weliwita, Ravishan Dissanayake and R.M. Fernando were arrested by the Financial Crimes Investigation Department (FCID) and remanded by the Kaduwela magistrate courts. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa appeared in court today.
