The number of COVID-19 patients climbed to 233 after 15 patients were diagnosed yesterday (14).
Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe stated that the final 14 confirmed patients were all those who had closely associated with patients identified earlier.
Eight patients had been at the Palali quarantine centre while four had been at the Mulankovil quarantine centre. One patient had been at the Puttalam quarantine centre while the other had also been at another quarantine centre.
