Over 600 persons were tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday (15), bringing the total number of cases from the virus to 30,459.
Out of the total 643 cases, 621 were detected among the locals here, while 21 positive persons were those who have arrived from overseas and presently in quarantine centres. Sixty eight prison inmates were among the cases found here.
Meanwhile, Thotawatte in Panadura and Alupotha in Badalkumbura, Moneragala were declared as isolated on Tuesday (15) night after several COVID cases were reported from the areas.
