Four persons, aged 70, 72, 50 and 66 died from COVID-19 related complications on Wednesday (30), the Government Information Department said.
The 72 year old female, a resident of Colombo 10 died from COVID triggered liver dysfunction, while all three males from Batticaloa, Colombo 15 and Kolonnawa died from non-communicable diseases intensified by COVID pneumonia condition.
The deaths increased the death toll from the virus to 199.
