Crisscrossing Wasantha turns up at UNF meeting
UNP MP Harsha de Silva taking to his official twitter handle highlighted that MP Wasantha Senanayake is currently attending a UNF meeting at Temple Trees.
On October 29, MP Senanayake accepted a cabinet portfolio as the Minister of Tourism and Wildlife under the new government while remaining as a member of the UNP.
However, on November 14, MP Senanayake told media that he would resign from his cabinet portfolio since the Mahinda Rajapaksa fraction did not have the majority in Parliament.
Inspite of claiming that he would resign from the new government, MP Senanayake attended the Cabinet meeting of the new government on November 21.
