CSE shut down for 30 minutes
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) shut down for 30 minutes at 12 noon on Thursday after the S&P SL20 index dropped below 5 % , CSE officials said.
The ASPI is 3.77 % down at 5,008.39. On Tuesday the market was closed for 30 minutes after the ASPI index fell below 5 %. The CSE has fallen 1,035 points since the start of this year with Rs. 4.4 billion net selling during this period. (DEC)
