The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will resume normal trading from Tuesday May 26 onwards after the curfew in Colombo was lifted after a near 2-month shutdown.
The pre-open session is from 10.30 am to 11.00 am, open auction at 11.00 am onwards and regular trading will commence thereafter and close at 2.30 pm, a CSE media release said on Monday. Before the emergence of the pandemic too the usual trading hours was 10 am to 2.30 pm.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
