Curfew in Kalmunai, Chavalakade & Sammanthurai areas
Curfew will be imposed in the areas belonging to the Kalmunai, Chavalakade & Sammanthurai police divisions from 8.00 pm today (Apr 30) till 6.00 am tomorrow, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
A curfew was initially imposed on April 26 until further notice after a shootout had occured between a group of security personnel and some suspected terrorists in the area.
