Curfew in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha will continue until further notice, the Presidential Secretariat said this evening.
Curfew in all other districts will be in effect from 8.00pm to 5.00am till Saturday, May 18.
An island-wide curfew will be in effect on Sunday, May 17, the President's Office further added.
Once curfew in districts other than Colombo and Gampaha is lifted at 5.00am on Monday, May 18, curfew in these districts will only be in effect from 8.00pm to 5.00am daily until Saturday, May 23.
The President's Office noted that the resumption of civilian life and work that commenced on May 11 will continue until May 16, and then resume once more from May 18.
Conditions detailed in all previous releases remain unchanged.
