The deadline provided for the registration of electric chainsaws which was extended from February 28 comes to a close today (Mar 15).
The registration of all chain saws was made mandatory in an effort to prevent deforestation from taking place in the country.
Owners of chain saws were instructed to produce their machines before their nearest police station and obtain a legal permit.
