Deadline for delimitation committee report extended

The deadline for the submission of the report compiled by the committee to look into complaints arising from the delimitation of new wards, has been extended further till December 31. 

Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Muthapha stated that he has extended the deadline to ensure that problems don't arise in the final report being compiled by the committee. However, the minister has instructed the commission to hand over the report to him ahead of the deadline. 

The minister has also instructed the committee to provide a draft of its final report to all political parties, the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government said in a statement.
