Debate on National Audit Bill begins

Debate on the National Audit Bill commenced in Parliament earlier this morning. 

The bill is being presented after being postponed earlier on several occasions. 

The National Audit Bill was a key pledge in the 100-day programme of the Yahapalana Government which was formed after the victory of President Maithripala Sirisena in January, 2015.
