An employee of a dhal polishing and packing factory in Kelaniya died in an accident at the factory yesterday, local media reported.
Furthermore,another four who sustained injuries were admitted to the Kiribathgoda Hospital.
The victim was 37 and a resident of Mawanella. The accident took place while attempting to repair the malfunctioning dhal polishing machine and had fallen into it.
Kelaniya Police are conducting investigating.
