Dialog suffers countrywide 'network failure'

Dialog networks throughout the country are currently down over a network issue, the company confirmed a short while ago. 

Dialog users throughout the country have complained that the network's signal is not working. Calls to other numbers within the network are proving especially difficult. 

When contacted over the company's general line, a Dialog employee stated that the network was currently experiencing a 'network failure' which the company's technicians were trying to fix. She said even the company's customer service numbers were currently out of service due to the wide-ranging network failure. 

The failure, which has been affecting the network's services for over an hour now, is expected to last for at least two more hours, the employee stated. 

Meanwhile, in response to queries from customers over Twitter, the company's Twitter account is giving the following response: "Hi,currently we are facing a network difficulty & our team is working on it to rectify the same ASAP."  

Meanwhile, the following message was posted on Dialog's official Facebook page a short while ago: 

"We wish to inform our valued customers that there was a mobile network outage in some areas which is being rectified. Some customers may experience difficulty in taking/receiving calls due to congestion and services will be fully restored shortly. We will keep you posted of further updates. We regret any inconvenience caused."

Dialog has a customer base of over 11 million and has over 2600 base stations spanning all provinces.
