Parliamentarian Anura Priyadharshana Yapa has expressed dissatisfaction with the behaviour of certain SLFP MPs following talks between the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) in a bid to form an alliance.
Speaking at a media briefing Mr Yapa claimed that the remarks made by certain SLFP MPs following these discussions had created room for controversy to arise on the formation of the new alliance.
Meanwhile, MP Shehan Semasinghe observed that certain SLFP parliamentarians were conducting themselves in a manner that supported the United National Party.
At present, two rounds of talks have already concluded between the SLFP and the SLPP on forming the new alliance.
