Doctors and medical staff in Badulla today staged a protest against remarks made by the Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure minister Harin Fernando about the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA).
Doctors and medical staff carried placards condemning the actions of the minister. Supporters of the minister also arrived at the scene, but the police prevented them approaching the area where the doctors were protesting.
They were condemning the actions of the doctors.
