The driver of the defender jeep who was involved in the hit-and-run accident which resulted in the death of a police officer has been further remanded until March 18.
This was announced when the suspect, Navindu Ratnayake, was produced before the Colombo Magistrates Court today (Mar 11).
The suspect was initially remanded until today by Colombo Additional Magistrate Isuru Netticumara on February 25.
