Two drug dealers identified as 'Thel Chooty' and the wife of criminal Kudu Roshan, 'Aruni Baba' have been arrested over their involvement in the narcotic trade today (Mar 27).
W.A. Niroshini, 30, alias 'Aruni Baba' has been identified as the wife of criminal Kudu Roshan who was imprisoned over the shooting and killing of five individuals including 'Chooti Ukkung' in Samanpura on October 23, 2016.
Special Task Force (STF) personnel had discovered three grams of heroin and over Rs 1 million which were in the possession of the suspect.
Details pertaining to two rented houses in Ragama and Kadawatha belonging to the suspect had surfaced following the arrest. STF personnel after dicovering these details had proceeded to inspect the houses and had apprehended an individual at the Kadawatha residence.
The suspect has been identified as 46-year old S. Dharmasiri alias 'Thel Chooti' a resident of Wellampitiya. Two grams of heroin, 100 grams of Ice, and cash amounting to over Rs 700,000 were discovered in the possession of the suspect.
