A Dubai court has postponed judgement on whether to deport underworld kingpin Makandure Madush to Sri Lanka, until May 9.
During the previous sitting the court had decided to announce its decision on the deportation of 'Makandure Madush', today (May 2).
Previously a petition was filed at the Dubai courts through lawyers representing S. A. Madush Lakshitha alias 'Makandure Madush' indicating that he was an investor and had invested heavily in the country's businesses. Further the petition requested that Madhush not be deported from the country in March.
It is believed that Madush's mistress Thilini Shanika had coordinated with the attorney's in order to file the case at the Dubai court.
A group of 31 Sri Lankans which included 'Makandure Madush'' and several other underworld members were taken into custody by the Dubai Police on February 04 during a party at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel at Al Raffa, Dubai.
