Former MP Duminda Silva pleaded guilty today to the charges filed against him by the Bribery Commission regarding the non-declaration of assets and liabilities.
The MP was accused of failing to declare his assets and liabilities from 2011 to 2013. He was fined Rs.3000 by the Colombo Additional Magistrate.
Mr. Silva is currently serving a death sentence over the murder of four persons, including former Presidential Advisor Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.
