Duminda taken to court in ambulance

Former Parliamentarian Duminda Silva was taken to the Colombo Magistrate's Court today for a hearing on three cases filed against him by the Bribery Commission. 

The cases have been filed regarding an alleged failure to submit a statement on assets and liabilities. 

Mr. Silva was brought to the court premises in an ambulance. He is currently on death row after being found guilty in the murder of former Presidential Advisor Baratha Lakshman Premachandra.
