The number of COVID-19 patients in the country has risen to 855 after eight more patients were confirmed this evening (11).
Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe stated that six out of the latest patients are navy personnel while the other two had recently returned from Dubai and were at a quarantine centre.
Meanwhile, the number of recoveries also rose to 321 today.
