The EU delegation in Colombo this week opened a book of condolence for victims of Tuesday's terrorist attacks in Brussels which resulted 35 people were killed and at least 300 injured.
Signing the book on behalf of the EU Delegation to Sri Lanka the Maldives, Ambassador David Daly wrote in his message that "Such attacks address us all, irrespective of where we come from; they call us to reinforce our collective efforts to face the challenges of terrorism."
The book of condolence is open to public for signing at the EU Delegation at 389, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 from 10am to 3pm till Friday April 1.

The government today granted permission for an Iranian warship with 208 on board to enter the country.
The United States has told Sri Lanka that the disposition of the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Bushehr and its crew is a matter for Colombo to resolve under its own laws and international obligations, while signalling it is in active talks with Sri Lanka to contain Iran’s threat to US interests.
