EU urges Sri Lanka to act according to the constitution ; says it will maintain a close watch
The European Union (EU) has urged all parties to act in accordance with Sri Lanka's constitution while refraining from acts of violence. According to a media release it said it would maintain a close watch on the events unfolding in the country.
The EU made this statement in the context of the present political crisis unfolding in the country.
