The Colombo High Court yesterday (Aug 16) issued summons on former chief judicial medical officer (JMO) Ananda Samarakoon for allegedly concealing evidence over the killing of national ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen.
Accordingly, Samarakoon has been ordered to appear before court on August 28 in order to receive indictments which would be handed over by the Attorney General (AG).
The AG has accused the former chief JMO of removing evidence from the body of the victim and also delaying reports pertaining to the investigations of the killing.
