Ministers of the previous government who failed to return their officials vehicles and vacate their official residences will be subjected to a penalty, a Public Administration ministry official said.
The official noted that certain ministers have not complied with the new government's instructions to return their state assets by the end of this month.
Accordingly, a penalty is likely to exceed Rs 500,000 will be imposed on such ministers, the official added.
