Export companies in Sri Lanka’s western district of Gampaha can continue to operate during the curfew period (in force since Wednesday evening and continuing till next Monday morning) strictly following the COVID-19 Health Guidelines and all preventive measures for the pandemic, with the consent of the relevant health authorities, the state-run Export Development Board (EDB) said on Thursday.
The EDB said it was ready and willing to faciliate the issuing of curfew passes while companies have been asked to contact the EDB Help Desk, tel 011 2300710, helpdesk@edb.gov.lk, www.srilankabusiness.com for any support in operations during the curfew.
