Extra three hours have been allocated for postal voters who were unable to cast their votes says Additional Elections Commissioner U. Amaradasa. The extra time will be given tomorrow, Tuesday from 9 am till 12 noon. Voters who have gained eligibility to use postal vote but was unable to do so will be able to cast their vote tomorrow at the Elections Office closest to their place of work, Elections Secretariat says. Meanwhile, time allotted to request for temporary identity cards will end today after it's deadline was postponed taking in to consideration those affected by extreme weather conditions.
