Falling signboard causes severe traffic along New Kelani Bridge

Heavy traffic is being reported along the New Kelani Bridge this morning after a large signboard fell on top of a container vehicle. 

Police are advising motorists to use  Japan Friendship Bridge to minimize traffic congestion. 

Efforts to remove the signboard are underway.
