Father, two daughters swept away due to strong currents in Kirinda
A father and two daughters have died after they were swept away due to strong currents in the seas off Kirinda, Yala, police said.
The mother of the same family who was also washed away is currently receiving treatment at the Ampara General Hospital.
The daughters have been identified of ages four and eight. They are residents of Hatton.
