FCID arrests Wimal Weerawansa

Former Minister and Leader of Jathika Nidahas Peramuna (JNP), Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa has been arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID). 

The MP was arrested after he went to the FCID headquarters this morning to give a statement. 

He has been arrested over charges of misusing Government vehicles.
