Female suspect arrested in connection with Grandpass shooting
A woman has been arrested in Wattala over the alleged involvement in the Grandpass shooting incident which took place yesterday (Dec 26).
The suspect identified as a 45 -year old was arrested by the Police while she was attempting to destroy the clothes and the mobile phone of 'Bloemendhal Sanka', the chief suspect in the incident.
Police Spokesman S.P. Ruwan Gunasekara said that police teams have been deployed to arrest the chief suspect.
