A 15-year-old child from Dankotuwa, who was receiving treatment at Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Maharagama died on Tuesday (22) due to COVID-19 related complications, the Director General of Health confirmed.
Two deaths were recorded by Tuesday night bringing the total number of deaths to 183. The second death was a 72-year-old female from Colombo 7 who suffered from COVID-triggered pneumonia.
