An individual was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for the alleged possession of Methamphetamine (Ice) worth over Rs 3.6 million.
According to the police, the suspect was arrested with 300 grams of the said drug upon his arrival to the country from Chennai.
The suspect has been identified as Mohamed Farook , a resident of Wellampitiya.
He was issued a seven day detention order after being produced before the Meegamuwa Magistrate Court today (Nov 22).
