A fire broke out at a clothing store in Maharagama at 7:05 pm yesterday.
Police officers and the fire emergency unit of the Kotte Municipal Council, were notified regarding the fire, took measures to bring the fire under control.
However, no casualities have been reported, police said.
Maharagama police are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
