Fire destroys over 100 shops in Kilinochchi

About 110 shops in the public fair of Kilinochchi town were gutted by a fire that swept through the area last night. The fire had been completely doused by this morning. 

The Sri Lanka Army had used its resources to help douse the fire. 

The extent of the damage is still being estimated and no cause for the fire has been established so far.
