A fire had broken out at a land area in Hokandara (North) at around 12:45 pm yesterday (Apr 12), police said.
The fire service of the Kotte Urban Council had doused the fire with the assistance of the Navagamuwa police and army personnel attached to the Panagoda Army Camp.
No casualties have been reported due to the fire. Further investigations are being carried out to determine the cause of the fire..
